Terms of Service

The service

Lifekit (the "Service") is a suite of productivity and automated tools provided as a hosted web application. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One account per person; sharing accounts is not permitted.

Acceptable use

Don't use Lifekit to generate or store content that is illegal, abusive, infringing, or designed to harm others. We may suspend accounts that breach this, with notice where possible.

Premium features have daily rate limits on the free tier. Attempting to circumvent these (multiple accounts, automation) is not permitted.

Your content

You own what you create in Lifekit. We have no claim on your invoices, resumes, journal entries, or any other content. You grant us a limited licence to store and display it so the Service can work.

Except for content you create (see "Your content" above), everything that makes up Lifekit and this website, including all software, source code, object code, algorithms, text, copy, documentation, graphics, logos, icons, images, illustrations, audio, video, fonts, page layouts, look and feel, visual design, the user interface, and the selection, coordination, structure, and arrangement of all of the foregoing (collectively, the "Materials"), is owned by Lifekit or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, database, and other intellectual property rights under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction and international treaties.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Materials solely as needed to use the Service for its intended purpose. Except as expressly permitted by this licence or by mandatory law, you may not, in whole or in part: copy, reproduce, download, scrape, crawl, harvest, index, cache, store, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, publish, post, distribute, transmit, broadcast, publicly display or perform, frame, mirror, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any of the Materials; decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the Service; or use any of the Materials to train, fine-tune, develop, benchmark, or evaluate any machine learning model, artificial intelligence system, or dataset. Each of the foregoing is prohibited without our prior express written permission, and any permission we grant is limited to the specific use stated in writing.

Lifekit, the Lifekit logo, and all related names, marks, and slogans are trademarks of Lifekit. Nothing on this website or in the Service grants, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any licence or right to use any trademark without our prior written permission.

Unauthorized use of the Materials is strictly prohibited, immediately terminates the limited licence granted to you, and may infringe copyright, trademark, and other laws. We reserve every right and remedy available to us and will enforce our rights to the fullest extent permitted by law, including seeking injunctive relief and damages. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Lifekit. To report infringement or request permission, email hello@lifekit.app.

Payments and refunds

Pro is billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. You can cancel any time - cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. If you believe you have been billed in error, email hello@lifekit.app within 14 days and we'll sort it out.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't promise it. The Service is provided as-is. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss, or auto-generated content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
